How we use enquiry information.

Information you provide

When you request a quote, 3D Man may receive your name, company name, phone number, email address, project requirements, requested date, quantity and any model, logo, artwork or reference file you choose to submit.

Why we use it

We use the information to assess your enquiry, prepare and discuss a quotation, communicate about the proposed work, and keep appropriate business records. Submitted files are used only for assessing or carrying out the requested work unless another use is agreed with you.

Instant price

Files you upload for an instant price are sent to our quoting system, where they are stored on our own server, sliced to work out print time and material, and priced. If you do not ask for the quote, the file and its price are deleted automatically after seven days. If you ask for the quote, we keep the file and your contact details with the quote for as long as reasonably needed for the work and our records.

To keep out automated abuse, the instant price uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Hex display designer

The hex display designer keeps your design in your own browser until you send it. When you send a design for a quote, the layout, its parts list, a preview image and your contact and delivery details go to our quoting system, where we keep them with the quote for as long as reasonably needed for the work and our records. A design link contains only the design, not your contact details; anyone you share it with can open a copy of the design.

Who may receive it

Information may be processed by service providers that support website hosting, email delivery, file handling or business administration. We do not publish submitted designs, logos or contact details as portfolio material without permission. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

Retention and security

We take reasonable steps to protect submitted information and retain it only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, resulting work, record-keeping or legal obligations. Internet and email transmission cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a concern about its use. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
